Staffin beaches
The best sandy beach is Staffin slipway beach (An Corran Beach) which is best reached by car and is a 5 minute drive – there is ample car parking spaces and this is also where the Dinosaur footprint is.
Staffin bay (Brogaig) Beach is the beach you can see from the kitchen at Driftwood cottage. When the tide is out there is a long sandy section and often you will be the only people on the beach. This is approx a 15- 20 minute walk.
The Quiraing
The Quiraing is a spectacular land slip and series of unique rock formations just a 5 minute drive from driftwood cottage. Why not walk the whole Quiraing loop or just pop up for a photo
The Old Man of Storr
The Old Man of Storr is an iconic landmark between Portree and Staffin just 20 minutes drive from Driftwood Cottage.
